Rooms for the way you travel

Room options at 52 The Grace Hotel run from straightforward double rooms for a single night on the road to larger family and group configurations with beds for everyone travelling together.

The differences between them are mostly about space and bedding rather than about what you get. Across the property, rooms are air-conditioned and non-smoking, with a private bathroom, free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen television with cable channels, a desk and tea and coffee facilities.

That consistency is deliberate. Choosing a room here is a question of how many people are sleeping and how much floor you want around the bed, not a gamble on whether the kettle or the hot water made it into your category.

Everyday stays

Six room types built around one or two guests. Choose by bed preference and by how much space you want when the day is finished. Every one of them is serviced daily and reached by lift, so an upper floor costs you nothing in effort.

Standard Double Room

1 double bed

A simple, well-kept room for a night or two in Muar, with the essentials arranged so nothing gets in the way. It is the room most guests choose when the plan is to arrive late, sleep properly and be on the road again after breakfast somewhere down Jalan Bakri.

Standard King Room

1 king bed

The same straightforward layout with a king bed, suited to couples or a solo traveller who likes room to spread out. The extra width across the bed makes a noticeable difference on a warm Johor night with the air conditioning running.

Deluxe Double Room

1 double bed

A little more space and a slightly more finished feel, while keeping the practical setup that makes short stays easy. Luggage has somewhere to live that is not the floor, and the desk stays clear enough to actually work at.

Deluxe Queen Room

1 queen bed

A queen bed with the deluxe fit-out, comfortable for both work evenings and unhurried mornings. Guests staying two or three nights tend to settle into this one, since there is space to unpack rather than live out of a suitcase.

Deluxe King Room

1 king bed

Our most generous of the everyday king options, with the desk and seating arranged for longer stays. It reads as a proper room rather than a place to pass the night, which is the point when a trip runs past the weekend.

Superior Double Room

1 double bed

A superior finish on the familiar double layout, for guests who want a step up without complicating things. Everything sits where you expect it to sit, only with a little more care in the finishes and the light.

Family and group stays

Larger rooms with more than one bed, useful when a family or a group of colleagues would rather stay together than split across the corridor. Bed configurations are listed exactly as confirmed for each room type.

Extra beds can be arranged on request where the room allows it, and the desk is happy to talk through which configuration actually suits your group before you book rather than after you arrive.

Deluxe Family Room

1 twin bed + 1 full bed

A practical mix of bed sizes for a family travelling together, with the same in-room comforts found across the hotel. Parents get a full bed, a child gets their own, and nobody negotiates over the blanket at midnight.

Superior Family Room

1 full bed + 1 queen bed

Two generous beds and a superior finish, comfortable for a longer family stay in Muar. It handles the school-holiday trips and the family occasions in town that tend to run a day longer than anyone first booked for.

Deluxe Quadruple Room

2 full beds

Two full beds in one room, an easy answer for groups travelling through Johor by road. Four people, one key card, one set of plans in the morning instead of a corridor conversation between three separate rooms.

Superior King Suite

1 queen bed + 2 sofa beds

The largest configuration at the hotel, combining a queen bed with two sofa beds. It works well when a group wants a shared space to sit in at the end of the day rather than only somewhere to sleep.

Families with older children take it for the same reason, and so do small work parties who need somewhere to spread papers out and talk after dinner without booking a second room to do it in.

Simple comforts, thoughtfully covered

Whichever room you book, the same set of essentials is in place. Air conditioning keeps the room comfortable through a Johor afternoon, and free Wi-Fi runs throughout the property, so a video call from the desk is as workable as streaming something from bed.

Every room has a private bathroom with a shower, bidet, hot water, complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer. A flat-screen television with cable channels, an electric kettle and tea and coffee facilities round out the room, and daily housekeeping keeps it that way from one night to the next.

Rooms are non-smoking and entered by key card. The elevator serves the upper floors, and the front desk is staffed at any hour if something is needed, whether that is a spare towel at midnight or a wake-up call before a long drive.

Make 52 your base in Muar

Choose the room that fits the trip and the desk will have it ready whenever the day brings you in. Availability and the conditions that apply to your dates are shown as you select your room, so nothing about the arrangement is left to guesswork.

Reception is staffed through the night, so a late arrival is simply a late arrival rather than a problem to solve at the door.
